WR-5

The WR-5 is a microprocessor-based remote control unit for use with NE Series Amplifiers and processors and the Protea 24.24M. The WR-5 is designed to fit into a standard electrical wall box for remote control of assignable functions. Connections are standard Euroblock-type. Up to 4 WR-5's can be daisy-chained and powered by the controlled product. Additional units can be used with a separate, outboard power supply. A "pocket" is provided in the adhesive overlay to allow the user to easily fabricate/change the button labels.

The WR-5 has six programmable function buttons, each with an LED, Up/Down buttons for incrementing/decrementing volume level, preset selection, etc., and a two-character alphanumeric display.

Each of the six buttons can each be programmed to engage one of the following functions:

• 1. Preset Recall - Immediately recall an assigned preset.
• 2. Preset Scroll - Allows user to select any of the allowed presets via the up/down arrow button shown by the alphanumerical display.
• 3. Gain Control - Allows volume control of assigned inputs/outputs.
• 4. Channel Mute - Allows mute control of assigned inputs/outputs.
• 5. Zone Source Selection - Allows for on/off control of assigned inputs, but only for a specific output.
