Phonic's Helix Board connects to your computer´s USB port and features a 96 KHz FireWire interface that lets you individually stream up to 18 independent channels of audio to the computer and return two channels to the mixer for monitoring at fast transfer rates of up to 24-bit/96 kHz with zero latency.  This also allows you to record & monitor in real time.  Helix Board mixers offer superior audio quality when multi-track recording by allowing you to monitor previously recorded audio files through your headphones while recording another track.

The Helix Board 24 is a 24-input compact mixer with 16 Mic/Line input channels (with inserts).  It has main 1/4" outputs, two AUX sends, control room outs, and stereo RCA and mini stereo input/output jacks with trim control for level matching while recording.  Helix Board mixers are compatible with most PC or Mac computers with no drivers required.

Pre/Post switches on each input channel allow users to adjust the outgoing FireWire signal between a pre-fader & post-fader signal. An onboard 32/40-bit digital multi-effect processor provides 100 popular programs, tap delay, test tones (pink noise, 1 kHz, etc.) and foot switch jacks. 16 extremely low noise Mic/Line preamps, each with 75 Hz low cut filters, inserts and +48V phantom power, and four stereo Line channels offer a variety of input options.

The 3-band EQ with swept mids, insert points for connection to external processors, 6 Aux send mixing bus (2 Aux sends with pre/post buttons), and direct outputs for multi-track recording allow users incredible flexibility with mix control and signal routing. Mono channels have an AUX 5/6 shift button, expanding the number of outputs available.

The mixer features a dual-position input/output (I/O) pod that lets you use it as a desktop mixer or convert for rack mounting. The I/O pod rotates out of the way to save space in your rack. 75 Hz Low cut filters (on each channel) eliminate P-pops, stage rumble and wind noise.  Additional features include Control Room/Phones source matrix and Steinberg´s Cubase LE digital audio workstation software.
