The AMT P800 trumpet microphone system is the only system on the market specifically made to handle the highest SPL levels that a trumpet can reproduce. The element, somewhere in size between a small and large diaphragm is hand made by AMT and larger in size than AMT's other system which allows for even the loudest of trumpet players to not overload the microphone. The P800 clamps to the lead pipe of the trumpet or flugal horn. AMT has developed their special "Off the bell" clamping system for this model. The latest version of the AMT P800W-Shure allows the player to easily convert where their directly connecting wireless microphone to any AMT preamp version. With a change in a cable, convert your P800W from a "W"ireless setup to a "Belt pack", or the AMT "Studio" series. Cables sold separately. Excellent choice for soft to loud music for a principal artist, ensemble setting, or a soloist. The microphone is suspended in a 4 point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. Powered via the wireless beltpack. Comes with microphone, universal clamp, case, and AMT disconnecting cable technology to allow the microphone to be used as "W"ireless or "BP" models if needed.
