Applied Microphone (AMT) ERT

The ERT is designed specifically for the needs of hand percussion players. This new mic addresses some challenges hand percussionists have long been faced with, such as reproduction of subtle low frequencies, mic placement, durability and noise handling. HAND MADE in New Jersey.  The ERT features shock mounting which provides harmonic dampening to reduce errant noise.

The unique design allows its clamp to accept rope and both tension rods and cable without movement or affecting the timber of the instrument.  The ERT's are designed to be as compact as unobtrusive as possible while offering the most “transparent” reproduction of sound possible. (“Transparent,” simply means that the sound is reproduced exactly as it is, with no additional high- or low-end emphasis or other sound coloration added by the microphone itself.)

The ERT features an "inline" preamp which is terminated with an XLR-type connector for use with Phantom power.

Comes with:

  • ERT Microphone
  • Special Clamp design for hand percussion or Banjohardware mounting.
  • 1 Inline preamp
  • Hard shell Blo-mold protective case.

Use it with:

  • Hand Percussion
  • Banjo
