Leslie Speakers G37

For the first time, a genuine Leslie speaker has been designed and voiced specifically for the guitar in the form of the Leslie G-37.  With its patented spinning horn on the top and rotor on the bottom, the G-37 is considerably smaller and much lighter in weight than traditional keyboard Leslies.  It's mighty sound is due to the onboard 100-watt guitar amp.  This footswitch-able 2-channel amp features a real tube preamp, giving the “clean” channel a warm and velvety tone, and the “overdrive” channel its crunch and power. A “contour” control lets you further tailor your overdrive tone to match your playing style. A 3-band master EQ round out the specs

The amp is connected to a specially-voiced driver that feeds the top spinning horn, and a V30 vintage 12” speaker that fires in the lower rotor drum. You won’t need to bother with the cumbersome “floor preamp” and thick multi-connector cable of the old-school Leslies. You simply plug in your guitar with a regular 1/4” guitar cable, just like a regular amp. The channel switch and “Fast/Slow” switch are normal-style guitar amp footswitches.

The optional “Gas Pedal" allows you to have continuous linear control of the Leslie's spinning speed. The further you press down on the pedal, the faster the Leslie spins, and vice versa.  The “Front Stop” feature make it so that the horn and rotor always stop in a position to sent your sound directly out the front of the cabinet, allowing the G-37 to perform like a regular guitar amp. Which is useful when “miking up” the G-37 in a sound reinforcement system.  Lastly, the new DC motors used to spin the horn and drum-they are the quietest motors ever used in a Leslie.

The G-37 weighs in at 85 pounds, and is comparable in size to a bass combo amp. It’s easy to lift, with the provided handles, and will fit into any car.
