PMR-HH2

Phantom Mic Rider Pro Series 2 for handheld mics with built-in IR sensor. The PMR-HH2 has a 110 dB dynamic range and lower phantom power requirements, allowing it to be used in demanding applications such as performance audio, recording, and broadcast. It features infrared gates that turn your mic on and off based on the presence of a person. The heat-sensing IR module is built-in on the handheld version. You can adjust the sensor for both time to turn off and range. The adjustments allow you to customize the gate function for any application.

The Series 2 units provide three audio processors: Automatic Gain Control, Proximity Effect Control, and Plosive Control. The Automatic Gain Control is for controlling gain as you move toward and away from the mic. The Proximity Effect Control is for controlling excess bass sound as you get closer to the mic and maintains flat frequency response at all distances from the mic. The Plosive Control is for reducing the loud pops and bursts from certain consonant sounds in speech.
