With 1080i recording capability, the HDV-HD1000U is perfect for weddings, sporting events, corporate communications, and more. A built-in down-converter allows DV material for standard DVD productions. It has a still photo mode, 10x optical zoom, and a Smooth Slow Rec function that allows users to perform slow-motion playback by capturing images at four times faster than the normal field rate. At an affordable rate, this HDV camera is perfect for videographers on a budget.
