The Allen & Heath ML3000-40A is a 40 channel, 15 buss live sound VCA console.  Never before has a fully equipped VCA desk been accessible to so many people. Once again we’ve applied our design skills to making a previously exclusive technology affordable to people on a real world budget.  We’ve also included our unique LCRplus panning system, bringing sophisticated signal imaging within reach for smaller shows. All this power is harnessed in a remarkably compact console which is a real pleasure to drive thanks to its simple, uncluttered control layout.

• Dual Functionality: GRP/Aux mode switches reverse the group fader and auxrotary master sections to allow you to choose any combination of up to 8 Auxsends and up to 4 audio subgroups on fader masters with inserts and fullmetering. A Centre Mode switch converts the 100mm C fader to an engineer'slisten wedge control with insert
• 4 Audio Groups: Assigned from paired routing buttons and pan from channel.Groups are routed to LCRplus via a single button
• 8 VCA Groups: Using a similar soft-controlled system and the same CPU asthe ML4000. Master View button allows checking of selected group assignments.High quality VCA's are fitted to mono and stereo input channels
• 8 Auxiliary Sends: 5-8 with faders on masters. 7-8 can be configured asstereo pre/post fade pair for i.e.m. Auxes 1- 4 have rotary masters in GroupMode, and fader masters with inserts in Aux Mode. Auxes have balanced XLRoutputs
• LCRplus Panning: Available from channels and groups. Uses blend and pancontrols to allow any signal positioning across the C and LR busses
• 8x4 Matrix: Fed from the groups and the LR and C busses. With inserts andexternal input. Matrix has VU meter access
• 8 Mute Groups: Input channels have soft mutes and are part of the mutegrouping and MIDI control. Soft assignment is the same as ML4000
• 4 Band EQ: ‘Responsive’ feel with separate controls for sweep andcut/boost on mid bands
• 2 Dual Stereo Channels: Additional to the channel count, mixable A&B[TRS] inputs with gain, 4 band EQ and mono summing
• ML Mic Pre with swept HPF: Same extended frequency response through signalpath as the ML5000. Swept off - 400Hz HPF. New pot law for smoother gain rangewith swept HPF
• Balanced XLR plus Inserts: Gold plated XLR connectors. Inserts [TRS] onchannels, fader masters, auxes 5-8 and LCR
• PAFL system: PFL overrides AFL. Led status indicators on channels andglobal status indication on meterbridge
• 128 Snapshot memories: Show automation of VCA assignment / mute ‘scenes’via MIDI/RS232 and ‘Archiver’ software
• Talkback: Talk to any of the fader master group/aux and LRC outputs via TBenable switches with led in each section. +48V and trim control for mic
• Engineer’s Toolbox: Phones, wedge and local monitor controls, - 20dB ‘dim’when TB active. Pink noise and oscillator, ground compensated direct outs onchannels, 2TRK, LR & C monitor selection with mono check. VU metering hasbuilt in peak led. TB/OSC output [TRS]
• Lamps: 3 XLR lamp sockets are provided
• Configuration options: Internal jumpers to configure Aux1 to direct out,pre/post direct out, pre/post EQ/pre-insert for the pre-fader source.
