The POWERVS10 BP is a compact, versatile bandpass subwoofer system and sophisticated Class D amplifier package integrated within the subwoofer cabinet, designed to extend the low frequency response of Tannoy POWERV Series loudspeakers and increase system headroom.

A switch on the rear panel of the full range models allows selection between Full Range or High Pass modes, with High Pass allowing a speaker to be mounted in close proximity to a boundary or simply to increase headroom. High pass mode also enables a simple top box and subwoofer combination to be created without the need for an external crossover. Two low pass setting options on the subwoofer amplifiers fully optimise integration with the full range units.

The POWERVS10 BP utilises a single high efficiency 250mm (10.00") drive unit in a compact and sturdy, black or white painted MDF cabinet. The design concept also allows discreet placement, for instance unobtrusively incorporated into fixed furnishings such as underneath seating or the bar in cafes and bars.

The install placement is made even easier as the design incorporates moveable bass port tubes and blanking plates that can be swapped from the side to the end panel, allowing the unit to be installed in various orientations. M10 rigging points are also provided to allow permanent installation.

Extending the frequency response of these systems to below 40Hz this highly efficient design is capable of providing output levels normally associated with considerably larger enclosures. A system suited to background music playback in applications ranging from clubs, bars and cafes, right through to theatres, AV presentations and dry hire.
