Compact passive 2-way floor monitor with a 12" low frequency driver and a 1" high frequency compression driver on a 40H x 70V high frequency horn in a symmetrical, low profile enclosure. Includes two stage high frequency protection system to guard against HF driver overload. Constructed from birch plywood, fitted with flush handles, pole mount socket, rubber feet and two Speakon NL4MP connectors.

The loudspeaker shall be of the passive two way floor monitor type, consisting of one reflex loaded 12" (305mm) low frequency loudspeaker and one 1" (25mm) high frequency compression driver in a symmetrical low profile enclosure. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall be: Frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be flat within ±4dB from 65Hz to 20kHz. Nominal dispersion, at -6dB points, shall average 40 degrees horizontal by 70 degrees vertical. Nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms. Power handling shall be 300 watts r.m.s., 600 watts program. Sensitivity, measured with 1 watt input at 1 metre distance on axis, mean averaged over stated bandwidth, shall be 97dB. Maximum SPL (peak) measured with music program at stated amplifier power shall be 128dB. Dimensions: 435mm x 533mm x 288mm (17.1" x 21.8" x 11.3"). Weight: 18kgs (39.6lbs). The loudspeaker shall be the Turbosound TXD-12M. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verify that the above combined performance/size specifications are equalled or exceeded.
