This Canon 2/3" ENG/EFP lens has a 20x zoom and is built to offer high performance in SDTV news gathering and field productions. The lens weighs less than 4 lbs and is suitable for harsh conditions. It features a quiet servo operation and shuttle-shot programmable positioning. The internal focus feature reduces chromatic distortions and decreases flare. The front lens element is stationary and can be used with a matte box for greater lens flare protection, as well as a wide array of square and rectangular filters. Instead of using the zoom function, an integral 2x extender gives immediate close-up images through a lens switch that doubles the focal length at any point in the zoom range.
