Ace Backstage Co. 104DDBBX

The #104DDBBX (10" x 18" x 12") Double Deep Back Boxes are manufactured from welded 14 gauge steel CRS (.071" thick) and have a clear zinc corrosion resistant finish. The Double Deep Back Box is precision die formed and jig welded and comes with a protective cover that is discarded when the pocket body is finally installed. The Double Deep Back Box has the same footprint as the standard #104BBX Back Box but with twice the depth capacity of standard Back Boxes.

The #104DDBBX Back Boxes are designed exclusively for use with the ACE Double Wide Stage Pockets. Set the back box securely braced into the floor to provide support equal to the floor loading requirements, accounting for any height offset required for the finished floor. Standard electrical conduit may be connected to the back box on any side via combination knock-outs. The protective cover is discarded when the finished pocket is installed. Mating screw holes are provided to secure the pocket flange to the back box flange.

The Double Wide Stage Pocket Body assembly is 4.5" deep and the Double Deep Back Boxes are 12" deep providing a large 7.5" work clearance in the bottom of the back box (ideal for feed thru or distribution junction). A 1/2" mounting flange is predrilled to mate with the pocket body flange. The clearance volume is 1558 sq. inches in the #104DDBBX. Standard electrical conduit combination knock-outs (K.O.) are provided on four sides.
