With a 1/3" 410K pixel, 3 CCD imager, designed to shoot 24 or 30 fps film-like progressive images, this camcorder is an ideal choice for a wide range of professional applications. The new "A" version of this popular camera features improved color reproduction, new Cine-like gamma curves, slow shutter function for higher sensitivity and dramatic effects, and a new Squeeze Mode for 16:9 recording. The camera features two XLR mic / line inputs, two optical ND filters, 3.5" hi resolution LCD color monitor, servo / manual zoom, IEEE 1394 digital interface and much more.
