National Geographic NGTT2

The NG Tundra Photo/Video tripod offers the same flexibility and features as the Ball Head tripod but with a special hybrid head for both photo and video use.  A simple turn of the pan handle locks or unlocks the tilt and pan movements, while a separate lock allows you to quickly achieve vertical compositions.  Small and extremely compact, the NG Tundra Photo/Video tripod is a perfect companion for all your outdoor Digicam and Palmcorder needs.

Features

  • A small profile plate to fit all compact digital cameras, allows the camera to be quickly attached and detached from the tripod
  • Easy to access yet provides the safety required to prevent the accidental release of the camera from the tripod
  • A simple turn of the handle locks or unlocks the Pan (left/right) and tilt (up/down) axis of the head.  When shooting video, this handle also allows steady movement of the camera
  • A natural anti-rotation shape ensures the legs don’t turn.  The elliptical shape also provides greater rigidity at the point where the legs attach to the tripod
  • Turn the dial to select normal leg angles (23 degrees), medium leg angles (45 degrees), or low-angle (80 degrees) to achieve ground level shots
  • Hidden away between the tripod legs, but easy to find, the lever quickly locks and unlocks the column to obtain higher camera positioning or to remove the column for low angle positioning
  • The column unscrews and splits into two sections.  In combination with the low angle leg setting you can get your camera all the way to the ground
  • The five sections allow the NG Tundra to fold up to its compact size, yet reach great heights when fully extended
  • Quick and easy to open and closem the NG Tundra Tripod allows quick positioning of the camera for horizontal or vertical composition
  • To fix the quick release plate to the bottom of your camera, a special tool is located in the bottom of the column.  Simply unscrew the tool from the column and then replace so it is always available
  • Large rubber feet provide stability on flat and uneven surfaces
