The PA-9312, PA-9324, PA-9336 and PA-9348 are reliable, heavy-duty single-channel power amplifiers designed for demanding sound system applications. All models feature an XLR balanced input, with adjustable input sensitivity from -12dB to 0dB. A parallel male XLR mconnector enables convenient amplifier linking in multiple amplifier installations. Automatic thermal protection circuitry is provided and an “idling” circuit protects against thermal runaway. A two-speed fan helps ensure reliability, switching to high-speed when the amplifier is under heavy load. A switchable highpass filter helps provide driver protection from excessive low frequencies. Front panel LEDs indicate output levels of -40dB, -10dB and clipping, as well as protection circuit activation. A ground-lift switch is provided to isolate signal ground from chassis ground.

The outputs are 4 ohm, 70V, or 100V (output transformer varies depending on country). The units can be powered by 100-120VAC/220-240VAC (depending on country requirements), or 24VDC, enabling the unit to be used as part of a portable PA system, or connection to a standby power supply for emergency operation. All models are packaged in a 5 1/4" high (3RU) rack-mount enclosure.
