The PA-1000B is a 30W public address mixer/amplifier with two balanced low-impedance (or unbalanced highimpedance) mic inputs, allowing connections of two dynamic microphones. Input three is for connection of any line level source. The unit also features an input from a 600 ohms (0.775V) telephone system paging port.

Muting is accomplished via voice activation from Mic1, or telephone input for paging. The PA-1000B has bass and treble controls. A four-tone chime is usable for page pre-announcement.
