Kramer’s IEEE 1394 high-speed Fire Wire cables are designed to carry digital data of up to 400 Mbps (400 million bits per second). They are used primarily for multimedia devices such as digital cameras, VCRs, CD-ROMs, hard disks, scanners, graphic cards and editing systems.

Uses the 4 wire cable as above, with a 6-pin connector on one end, and a 4-pin connector on the other end of the cable. Most people need this type of cable!! These cables connect a camcorder to a PC with 1394.
