Kramer’s IEEE 1394 high-speed Fire Wire cables are designed to carry digital data of up to 400 Mbps (400 million bits per second). They are used primarily for multimedia devices such as digital cameras, VCRs, CD-ROMs, hard disks, scanners, graphic cards and editing systems.

Uses two separately double shielded data cables, without power wires, in an overall double shielded cable with small 4-pin connectors on either end. The 4-pin connector is more common on digital video camcorders and other small external devices because of its small size. This cable connects two camcorders or other Computer with the 4-pin to a camcorder.
