Kramer SD-7588V

The Kramer SD-7588V is an adjustment-free, cable-equalized, reclocking, multi-standard 8x8 Serial Digital Video Matrix. It provides automatic equalization for losses on 75ohm; co-axial cable, and reclocks each output to provide eight low-jitter serial digital outputs. Standard recognition is automatic. The unit operates with both 10-bit and 8-bit video, automatically recognizing the word length. The SD-7588V accepts analog video as the external source for its vertical trigger. Both the front-panel touch switches and the built-in RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces may be used to control the machine. Fifteen preset memory locations are provided for quick access to the most frequently used configurations. The unit ships with Windows 95/98/NTâ„¢ control software and an optional desktop or rack-mountable remote control panel is also available. The SD-7588V works as a stand-alone unit as well as part of a Kramer multi-signal switcher system, which includes digital and analog video, digital and analog audio, and RS-422 control switchers. When integrated in a system, it provides the rest of the switchers with the vertical interval trigger.
