Specifically designed to solve problems in professional video and broadcast applications. The AT831B's specially tailored response assures crisp, natural voice quality in a small, unobtrusive package, while the cardioid pickup pattern of the AT831B reduces ambient noise pickup for improved performance sound isolation. Powered by a single 1.5V "AA" type battery, or by 9-48V phantom power, with a cable to the belt module which also includes an on/off switch for use when battery powered.
