Gentner’s RX-1A Receiver is designed with the listener in mind. Its small, elegant design enables the listener to focus on the content of the presentation, not the assistive listening device. The attractive design is accentuated by its ease of use. All operation is done with one On/Off/Volume control which is especially useful for the elderly or those with physical disabilities.

The receiver is tunable to any FCC approved assistive listening channel, allowing you to stock only one type of receiver instead of separate receivers for each channel. Gentner also provides a variety of accessories for the receiver that can be used with or without a hearing aid.

The receiver’s high level of sensitivity allows audience members to sit wherever they choose, even in large auditoriums or stadiums. Unlike infrared systems that are difficult to use in brightly lit environments, the RX-1A FM Receiver is perfect for outdoor or indoor applications. In addition, the RX-1A may be concealed without regard for the line of sight restriction of infrared systems.

For classroom and other applications that require extended battery life, the RX-1A is the perfect fit. While other receivers use short life 9-volt batteries, the RX-1A can run on a single set of AA batteries for 60 hours or longer.
