The Tannoy VS18 DR is a heavy-duty direct radiating subwoofer specifically designed to complement the larger Tannoy V Series loudspeakers where high definition sound reinforcement at low/ultra-low frequencies, allied to greatly increased system headroom, is required. The VS18 DR is ideal for clubs, theatre, and concert sound applications where it delivers high sound pressure levels with extremely low distortion and power compression; doing all this while maintaining a uniform frequency response throughout it's dynamic range.

The Tannoy VS18 DR is a direct radiating subwoofer designed to complement Tannoy V Series loudspeakers where high definition sound reinforcement at low/ultra low frequencies with increased headroom is required.

The VS18 DR extends the frequency response of systems to below 30Hz, making it ideal for effects in clubs, theatre, and concert sound applications. This powerful loudspeaker is capable of delivering high sound pressure levels with extremely low distortion and power compression while maintaining a uniform frequency response throughout it's dynamic range.

The Tannoy VS18 DR consists of one high efficiency 18"/4" voice coil drive unit.

The cabinet, available in black or white, is constructed from 5/8" multi-ply hardwood to survive the punishment that speaker systems are subjected to on the road and in club installations. The heavy-duty construction of the Tannoy VS18 DR ensures it is ideally suited to permanent or portable applications.

The VS18 DR comes complete with recessed carrying handles for ease of transportation, 10mm flying points to provide a quick and secure flying system, and a blanking plate for optional VTH pole mount. Tripods can therefore be eliminated by connecting V Series subwoofers and V Series Dual Concentric loudspeakers by ordering the Tannoy VTH top hat mounting hardware.
