The DBX 223 is a solidly built stereo 2-way / mono 3-way crossover that features Linkwitz-Riley 24db per octave filters and TRS differently balanced ins and outs.  All of the inputs and outputs are bolted down to the chassis to insure that even if someone stomps on a cable that's plugged into the unit, it's not going to damage the circuit board inside.  Switches for selecting the range of the crossover frequencies as well as between stereo 2-way / mono 3-way operation are on the back to prevent problems that could occur due to mid-program switching.  LED's are included on the front panel to indicate modes and frequency ranges selected.
