CLASSIC-II

The original RØDE™ Classic is known for its unique personality, clarity, and sensitivity. The Classic II takes these qualities to new levels yet retains the character of its predecessor. Building on the legacy of their critically acclaimed Classic microphone, Freedman Electronics has released the RØDE Classic II.

The Classic II retains many of the qualities of the original, while offering a number of improvements. The new microphone provides greatly enhanced sonic performance, thanks to its dual edge-terminated large diaphragm design. Edge-termination allows the diaphragm to move unrestricted by a center wire, resulting in fuller low end response. Self noise has been significantly reduced, thanks to redesigned internal circuitry. The new birdcage shock-mount provides superior mechanical noise suppression, and the new stand mount design offers greater stability and security. Overall reliability has been improved through a complete redesign of the mechanical cable connections and the double-shielded, oxygen-free copper multicore cable.
