ERD8

The Quam ERD-8 is a round, steel loudpseaker back box. A circular, molded expanded polystyrene damping pad is fitted to the inside top of the enclosure. Four welded hanger straps. UL listed  (UUMW) Finish: white baked epoxy hybrid.

Constructed of drawn steel, these backboxes have a bump to add acoustical rigidity and a fire retardant acoustic damping device to reduce standing waves and mechanical resonances. They are approximately half the weight of welded backboxes. They can be used with SSB-2, SSB-3, SB-4, SSB-6 and SSB-7 support devices.

• Four slots at 90° provide quick attachment to SSB-2 tile bridge without need for additional hardware
