Infrared Remote Dist Amp

The RM-20 solves the problem of controlling standard IR controlled VTRs in a video duplication facility. The RM-20 has been designed to provide IR remote control signal distribution for 20 VTRs without modifications or any conversions of any kind.

The unit can handle any IR VTR PROTOCOL when used in conjunction with our MRM-100/5 INFRARED MASTER REMOTE CONTROL.

RM-20 units can be looped to control up to 1000 VTRs from a single MRM-100/5. The RM-20 can also be controlled from a modified hand held remote control. Since the 20 outputs are buffered, each VTR receives its own IR signal via cable with an IR LED attached. This LED is placed directly in front of the VTR's IR sensor, & that is all that is required.

The RM-20 is perfect where consumer or prosumer type VHS VTRs are used in real-time duplication facilities. The RM-20 will only operate with the MRM-100/5 or a specially modified handheld IR transmitter.
