DPA/Danish Pro Audio 4035-DPA

 The Headset Microphone Type 4035 is a phantom powered (P48) omnidirectional studio quality condenser microphone specially designed for safe and easy mounting on a variety of standard headphones.

It is preamplified using a build-in ultra-small thick-film mounted FET-preamplifier and runs directly on 48 V phantom power without any need of an external preamplifier. The 4035 uses the same cartridge as the Studio Standard Microphone Type 4007 and therefore has a perfect omnidirectional polar pattern, which means that the voice is picked up in the most clear and natural way, even if the voice is not directly on the microphone axis. Using an omnidirectional cartridge instead of a directional, means there will be no proximity effect coloring the low frequencies.

The extremely linear frequency response from 20 Hz to 40 kHz (±2 dB) and a SPL handling capability of 144 dB SPL peak before clipping occurs makes the Type 4035 the professional choice in situations where the voice or instruments needs to be picked up in the most clear and undistorted way.
