Up to 80% of nearfield studio monitors speakers now being sold are selfpowered. This recent change to powered monitor speakers for studio remix, with two or more pairs typically being used for comparison purposes, has created the need for a simple, effective line level speaker switcher.
The Pro Co Switch Witch is such a device, allowing the user to select up to four pairs of speakers from a single balanced stereo line level source. Housed in Pro Co’s sturdy "Unibox" single space 19" rack enclosure, the unit has all switches on the front panel and all connectors on the back panel. All ins and outs are on XLR connectors.
The unit is not intended for microphone level switching. The Switch Witch is an inexpensive, effective method for accomplishing this most basic of tasks, quickly, quietly and reliably.
