FC10D

The Kramer FC-10D is a format converter designed to interface between composite video and s-Video (Y/C). The decoding from composite to Y/C is done digitally using an adaptive comb filter and DSP techniques to minimize dot-crawl and cross-color. A built-in vertical enhancer circuit reduces noise and dot-crawl on the Y signal. Encoding (s-Video to composite) is also provided, allowing simultaneous bi-directional operation. The FC-10D is a compact desktop size unit but two can be installed in a standard 19” rack using the RK-50R rack mount kit if desired. A 12-volt power supply is included for typical use but the optional, rack mountable VA-50P can power up to six Kramer devices requiring 12VDC.
