Interface balanced and coaxial lines. Female cable end XLR 110 Ohm input and female BNC 75 Ohm output.
To allow longer cable runs via lower attenuation coax lines rather than twisted pair (STP) cables a converter is necessary. The NADIT Series of adapters is the answer to this problem. They passively transform the characteristic impedance of a balanced 110 Ohm twisted pair cable to a 75 Ohm unbalanced coaxial line and vice versa.
