8" Universal Backbox for Speaker Installation, Round

ERD8U

The Quam ERD8U is a round, steel loudspeaker back box. A circular, molded expanded polystyrene damping pad is fitted to the inside top of the enclosure. Two snap-in hanger straps. UL listed (UUMW). Finish: White baked epoxy hybrid.

Constructed of drawn steel, these backboxes have a bump to add acoustical rigidity and a fire retardant acoustic damping device to reduce standing waves and mechanical resonances. They are approximately half the weight of welded backboxes. They can be used with SSB-2, SSB-3, SB-4, SSB-6 and SSB-7 support devices.
