Cinema low frequency screen loudspeaker featuring dual 15 inch bass drivers in a heavily braced enclosure.

This state of the art loudspeaker system was developed by "reverse engineering" the THX* cinema loudspeaker requirements. The low frequency driver parameters and the enclosure were determined from the desired specifications of a stage loudspeaker as outlined by THX*. This ensured the closest possible embodiment of the specifications that technology allows with components specially made for cinema applications.

The components were chosen for their sound quality, long term power handling, low distortion, reliability and high dynamic range. More importantly, this system delivers remarkable dynamics and if driven correctly will handle the most demanding digital sound tracks with ease.

There is also a slim version of this speaker available -- model KX-2612 -- dimensions 1145mm high, 720mm wide, 380mm deep.
