Using the very latest magnet technology, Coles has designed the 4040 studio ribbon microphone with an extended, exceptionally flat frequency range from 30Hz to over 20kHz. It has a figure 8 polar pattern which remains constant on either horizontal or vertical axis giving it silky smooth pickup characteristics, the elements are gold plated and internally shock-mounted and includes a universal stand mount and hard case.
