Ace Backstage Co. 104BBX

The #104BBX Back Boxes are welded 14 gauge steel with a protective cover that is discarded when the pocket body is finally installed. The box and cover have a clear zinc corrosion resistant finish. A 1/2" mounting flange is predrilled to mate with the pocket body flange. The pocket body assembly is 4.5" deep and the back box is 6" deep providing a 1.5" work clearance in the bottom of the back box (ideal for feed thru or distribution junction). The clearance volume is 445 sq. inches in the #104BBX, 146 sq. inches in the #102BBX, and 92 sq. inches in the #103BBX. Standard electrical conduit combination knock-outs (K.O.) are provided on four sides.

The #104BBX Back Boxes are designed exclusively for use with the ACE Double Wide Stage Pockets. The #104BBX Back Box is NOT the Back Box used for the Super Double Wide Pocket (the Super Double Wide Pocket Back Box Model # is #BRK104BBX). Set the back box securely braced into the floor to provide support equal to the floor loading requirements, accounting for any height offset required for the finished floor. Standard electrical conduit may be connected to the back box on any side via combination knock-outs. The protective cover is discarded when the finished pocket is installed. Mating screw holes are provided to secure the pocket flange to the back box flange.
