no expenses in creating a sound stage like none before - with all details and full dynamic range.

The DVD250B is also your CD Player. Thule Audio has many years of experience in designing

Hi-Fi products and with DVD250B we simply had to design a high quality CD Player as well as

an unparalleled DVD Player. Actually DVD250B is its money worth alone as a CD Player.

The DVD250 has a timeless and elegant design: the key words are simplicity and symmetry. Our

industrial designer has used contrasts to gives the products an elegant graphical expression. You

can choose between two colour variations: black/silver or black/gold.We have harmonized the

visual design with the other Thule Audio products, so that the products together will form a

perfectly balanced whole. The front and knobs of DVD250 are made in a high quality aluminium

finish and the cabinet is robust with a practical surface.

You can operate all main functions from the front panel buttons: You can open and close the tray

loader, activate play, stop and jump forward/back. From the remote control you have the main

functions as well as the more specialized functions, like programming your favourite track numbers

and language selection. The remote control is very powerful and works from a long distance.

You can use the DVD250 as a building block in a complete Thule Audio home theatre: e.g.

DVD250 with the PR250B processor and the new PA250B/PA350B power amplifiers with Virtual

Class A¨ technology. This set-up is a nice solution if you also want high-end music performance.

DVD250 has 6 pcs. 10bit video D/A converters like other top class DVD Players. But more importantly,

the video output circuit has a bandwidth of 70MHZ, which ensures very low distortion and phase

error in the video signal. The video circuit can output RGB and YCrCb video signals simultaneously.

When DVD250 plays CD disc it uses a RAM buffer of about one second of music, which will

effectively cancel any time error (jitter). The ÒBÓ version of DVD250 contains a high quality stereo

24bit D/A converter, based on the most modern Burr Brown D/A converters. This makes fully

differential analog output possible. In this way you get a unique DVD Player whose sound

performance is on par with the best CD Players on the market.
