With more than five times the processing power of the original 02R, the 02R96 represents a console up to date with today's most advanced production needs. Since it inherits key features from the DM2000 Digital Production Console - 96-kHz audio, surround monitoring, studio manager software, and DAW control - it makes the most advanced technology for commercial sound and music production available to a broad range of engineers and facilities. It features full 96- kHz resolution with 32-bit internal processing and 58-bit accumulators providing 56 channels (24 channels in 3 layers) of transparent 24-bit/96-kHz audio, plus 96-kHz compatible stereo effects with 32-bit internal processing (up to four simultaneous). It also features 24 100-mm motorized faders, 56 channels of independent compression and gating/ducking processors, 4-band parametric EQ and expandable effects data libraries. The 02R96includes 5.1 surround processing, panning and monitoring - including joystick, graphic monitor & multi-channel surround pan/position displays. I/O capability - four I/O slots accept a new range of24-bit/96-kHz-capable Mini-YGDAI digital (ADAT, TASCAM, or AES/EBU format) and analog I/O cards (including Apogee's high-performance A/D and D/A cards & Waves Y56K effects plug-in card) as well as existing types. Digital I/O - 1X4 AES/EBU, 2X2 RCA SPDIF, & RS422 connector. Analog I/O - Chl's 1-16 have both balanced XLR & TRS with inserts, chl's 17-24 have balanced TRS, 2-two track inputs (one pair each RCA & 1/4" TRS), 2-stereo outputs (one pair each RCA & XLR balanced), TRS balanced studio & control room monitors, 8 omni outputs & one headphone jack.
