The KDX (Krix Digital Experience) Loudspeaker System, comprising the KDX-M (main/rear) and the KDX-C (centre), is designed primarily for 5 channel digital sound reproduction.
With digital sound setting new standards in movie entertainment, musicality often becomes a low priority. At Krix Loudspeakers audio quality is paramount, which is why Krix developed the KDX-M loudspeakers, a compact bookshelf design forming the basis of a high quality stereo system.
Our major focus was to provide precise timbral matching to the left, centre, right and rear channel. We achieved this by using identical cabinets, bass drivers and tweeters for each loudspeaker.
The only difference is found in the design of the crossover network for the centre channel. This was necessary because the centre channel is horizontally aligned and usually placed on the top of a television or in a cabinet. This creates additional low frequency for which the crossover compensates. All drivers in the KDX-M and KDX-C are magnetically shielded so they can be placed in close proximity to your television.
Krix have matched the KDX-M to be sold as pairs and the KDX-C to be sold as a single unit.
