AKG CHM21

The Discreet Acoustics Compact CHM 21 is a small, narrow-profile, hanging "choir" microphone used for house-of-worship, theater and teleconferencing applications. Its clean, modern design and impressive performance totally belie its small size. The CHM 21 features a cardioid pickup pattern that allows the microphone to be aimed at the desired area of coverage and reject sound coming from the sides and rear to minimize the potential for feedback from the sound system. The CHM 21 also has 33 ft of twist-resistant cable and a curled spring steel clamp that allow it to be hung and aimed precisely. The built-in DPA phantom power adapter allows the microphone to work perfectly on phantom power from 9 to 52 Volts. A bass-cut filter is built into the adapter and is switchable via an internal jumper to prevent tampering is useful in minimizing HVAC noise. The microphone's matte gray finish allows it to fit unobtrusively into any environment and it comes complete with an external windscreen and a mounting flange. It will nearly disappear when more than 10 feet away yet will deliver incredibly accurate, detialed sound quality.
