Fully IEEE 1394 Standard cables provide up to 400mbps speed designed for cameras.

NOTE: These cables are not designed for use other than FireWire purposes. Cables do not pass power. This product has been tested with a number of DV devices including cameras and decks. Though 1394 circuitry supports firewire speeds up to 400Mbps, it is possible that some configurations of equipment may not work. The addition of repeaters and cable drivers may or may not solve a particulate interface problem. 1394 equipment such as Hard drives, Scanners, and CDROM drives should not be used with these cables.
