For highly demanding applications such as nightclubs and bigger dance venues, the V15 delivers a scale of performance only possible from a 15" PowerDual™; exceptionally high SPL from an increased efficiency, high power handling drive unit. Like all Tannoy Dual Concentric™ equipped HDSR™ loudspeakers, the Tannoy V15 exhibits true constant directivity dispersion, providing an even frequency response and class leading vocal intelligibility over the entire area of coverage.

The Tannoy V15 is a premium quality installation cabinet based around a high power 380mm (15") point source, constant directivity PowerDual™ transducer for high SPL applications.

The PowerDual uses larger HF and LF magnet assemblies and voice coils to increase efficiency, power handling and SPL’s, while offering all the benefits of Tannoy Dual Concentric™ transducers. The high frequency (HF) and low frequency (LF) sources are coincidentally aligned to a point-source. The result is a smooth, uniform frequency response over a wide coverage area, unachievable with discrete, two-way designs in the vertical plane where massive cancellations appear off axis at the crossover frequency. The 75° conical dispersion of the PowerDual allows either vertical or horizontal mounting without compromising sound quality.

Available in Black or White, the rugged multi-ply birch cabinet has an asymmetric profile that allows installations in a variety of configurations.

The V15 is designed to function properly without the use of a controller and can be bi-amplified for increased system flexibility. A compatible controller will improve bass performance, as well as provide a crossover function for use with V Series bass systems.

The V15 comes complete with a recessed carrying handle and 10mm flying points to provide a quick and secure flying system. Tannoy’s proprietary Secure-ET™ modular mounting hardware provides the V Series with multiple hanging options – wall mount, yoke, ceiling saddle, pole clamp, pole mount and eyebolts.
