The Telex BTR-1 provides wide band full duplex secure communications and employ Telex's proprietary ClearScan function for unmatched ease of frequency selection. Employing a 32-bit linear feedback shift register for encryption, the units provide secure communications while meeting export controls to allow their use worldwide. The encryption technology is firmware-based allowing future upgrades as new developments are made in encryption algorithms.
