Audix F90

The F-90 is a miniature pre-polarized condenser microphone that is very low profile and is exceptionally easy to use. Designed primarily for use with drums and percussion, the F-90 will fit into very tight places and can be used beneath cymbals, in between drums, on frame drums, hand percussion instruments, and rim-style mounts. Lightweight and compact, the F-90 is packaged in a brightly colored blister pack with specifications, Description, and applications.

Characterized by a cardioid pickup pattern and a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 50 Hz - 18 kHz, the F-90 features a precision machine aluminum capsule, integrated mic cable, and a chrome plated steel clamping system that is very easy to use. The mic is designed to be in the proper position for miking most instruments and any final adjustments are easy with the flexible gooseneck attached to the mic. Operation requires phantom power of 9 - 52 Volts and a phantom power adapter is included with the product.

Low noise electronic circuitry coupled with balanced output allows interference-free performance even with long cable runs. The F-90 is road-worthy and capable of reproducing sound pressure levels of up to 140 dB.
