Atlas Sound ASL-6A

The ASL-6A loudspeaker switching system includes an impedance protection circuit that operates in pairs, allowing each set of loudspeakers to operate directly and simultaneously from the amplifier for maximum efficiency. The left and right channels are completely isolated for protected operation. The unit can be shelf or 19" rack-mounted, with supplied brackets. All switcher models feature Euro-style screw terminals that will facilitate 12 to 24 ga. wire, push-button on/off controls for each connection, and attractive mar-resistant black finish.

Model ASL-6A is designed to provide switching and volume control of six loudspeaker pairs, and will accommodate any combination of loudspeakers with 4, 8, and/or 16 ohm impedance. ASL Series features an independent on/off switch, volume control, and A-B source selector switch for each loudspeaker pair. Volume controls are equipped with heat-reducing transformers; recognized for dependable operation in a closed environment. Attenuation is accomplished in eight steps. (Note: attenuators are employed and pre-set to guard against system overload so that when positioned at maximum volume; the full power of the source amplifier is divided equally among each of the loudspeaker pairs.) Models have a power handling capacity of 70 watts RMS.
