The PTM-8100 is an eight-channel, high performance power amplifier designed primarily for use in home theater systems or multiroom installations where superior sound quality is demanded. Handcrafted in the United States to the rigorous quality and performance standards established by Audio Design Associates, the PTM-8100 matches perfectly with the ADA Suite 7.1 Home Theater Preamplifier or Suite 8 x 8 and Suite 16 multiroom systems.

The PTM-8100 can effortlessly drive demanding home theater speakers and is also ideal for larger speakers in multiroom applications. The PTM-8100’s enormous high current power supply and robust output circuitry provide stable 2 ohm operation.
The PTM-8100 features ADA’s cutting-edge PAC (Programmable Amp Controller) circuit, which enables RS-232 and/or DC triggering of independent zones when using the PTM-8100 in a multiroom system.

This feature also makes it possible to have multiple amplifier channels track a specific room/zone when employing multiple speaker pairs in that area. The PAC circuit facilitates simple one touch operation to turn on a room in the multiroom system. The PTM-8100’s rack mount design and detachable rear panel connectors make it easy to install into a standard 19-inch equipment rack. The PTM-8100’s built in temperature control circuit helps maintain long-term reliability.
