Instead of using centralized drivers that barrel audio directly down the ear canal, with S-Logic™, audio reflects off the surface of the outer ear (which is used for 3-dimensional understanding of distance and direction). Audio "slides" into your head the way you naturally hear and allows you to hear musical nuances that you have never heard. Music sounds like the sweet spot of fine monitor speakers rather than headphones. All this with no external processing or batteries required.
