The HT-5 is an omni-directional headset microphone designed for fidelity, functionality and durability. The versatility of the HT-5 allows it to be used for a wide variety of applications including; Theatre, Presentations, Houses of Worship, Boardrooms, Live Music Vocals, Broadcast, and Instrument miking. The omni-directional headset maintains high speech intelligibility without sounding hollow or harsh while the low profile design focuses the attention of the listener on the speaker not the microphone. The HT-5 features a flexible steel frame that is adjustable for different head sizes. Additionally, the flexible micro-boom also permits the microphone to be positioned by the user for sound quality and comfort. Other design features include a strain relief at the back of the frame to protect the microphone from damage and a dual ear piece which provides a high degree of stability and comfort not found in other headsets on the market.
Able to be used with wireless systems or hard-wired, the HT-5 features a flat response across the audio spectrum, and has a rated SPL handling of 140 dB.

Set-Up: The HT-5 is designed so that the headband is worn around the back of the head with the curved ear pieces resting lightly around both ears. If the user has long hair, the back of the headset will be completely hidden. The dual ear system keeps the headset stable once it is in the desired position. The microphone is at the very end of the flexible boom and should be positioned on the user’s right side of the cheek just off the corner of the mouth. The flexible steel cage can be adjusted to fit your head comfortably by either opening or closing the cage. For optimum sound and performance, DO NOT put the microphone directly in front of the mouth or in the airflow path of the nose.
