The K28NC uses AKG's 3-D AxisTM design that allows the ear cups to move side-to-sice and to pivot up and down for extreme comfort as well as convenient storage. Its metal headband has thick rubber temple pads and expands to fit any-sized head. The soft leatherette ear pads are washable and extremely comfortable.

The K28NC reduces ambient noise by nearly 70% with closed-back ear cups and active noise filtering. The headphone has small microphone transducers built into each ear cup and the electronics module takes the signal picked up by the microphones, reverses the polarity and feeds it to the headphone, thereby canceling the noise. The electronics module delivers ~40 hours of operation from a single 1.5-volt "AAA" alkaline or rechargeable battery. The module has an LED indicator that blinks to warn when 5 hours of battery life remains. The headphone always functions, even if the battery discharges or the electronics module is switched off.

The system comes with both mini to 1/4" and dual-mono airline adaptors, a Duracell battery, plus a stretchable micro-fiber bag for storage. Thanks to its 320ohm impedance and high sensitivity, the K28NC plays very loud even driven with low-output audio sources. You'll be amazed at how great it sounds.
