Class #1: Sound Forge basics
Designed for the new and novice user, this class covers everything you need to know to get up and running fast. You'll learn essential techniques that are easy to master and fun to use. When you're done with this class, you'll have recorded and assembled a complete radio promotional spot.

Class #2: Recording techniques
In this class, you'll move into more sophisticated recording techniques like the automatic recording methods and the various record modes that make recording in Sound Forge software so flexible.

Class #3: Beyond the basics
In this class, you'll explore some of the more sophisticated tools that will move you well beyond the basic concepts of cut, copy, and paste and into a higher level of editing sophistication. You'll learn to repair audio glitches and other noise problems, create tight audio loops, use markers and regions as well as many other techniques to organize and speed up your work.

Class #4: Processes and effects
In this class, you'll learn sophisticated techniques that you can use to add processes and effects to your project. You'll learn to build plug-in chains, automate your effects plug-ins, organize and manage all of your plug-ins, and create custom plug-in presets that you can instantly call up at any time.

Class #5: New features
This class explores the new features of Sound Forge 8 software. You'll not only learn what the new features are, but also exactly how to use them in real-world projects. You'll learn to use application scripting to automate your workflow, master the new batch converter, and author a Red Book audio CD in CD Architect software.

*The Seminar DVDs can be played on compatible set-top or computer DVD players. NTSC and PAL versions are available. The Content DVD must be used in a computer DVD player. Because data rates of computer DVD players vary, we recommend copying the class media files from the Content DVD to your hard drive.
