Combining professional-grade audio clarity with reliable operation in the UHF band as well as extremely easy setup, the SWC88XBGT—part of the Samson Concert 88x Series—takes the complexity out of going wireless. It frees you to move around the stage, among the crowd, and interact with your audience as never before.
At the core of the Concert 88x systems is their simplicity blended with performance. They feature one-touch scanning which executes an analysis of all available channels, then selects the clearest one for your particular performance space. Then, an infrared signal locks together the transmitter and receiver on the selected channel. And with 100 frequencies and a wide 25 MHz bandwidth, there are plenty of channels available for your event/application.
Signal dropouts are minimized thanks to the true-diversity design—delivering loud and clear wireless reception with a range of up to a 300ft. Tone-key and auto-mute functionality ensure that only the CH88 handheld transmitter's audio signal reaches the receiver, automatically muting the system when the transmitter is out of range, preventing unwanted noise from entering the signal path.
The receiver's rear panel includes both balanced XLR as well as unbalanced ¼" plugs which enable connection with an amplifier, sound system, or recording desk. The half-rack format and included rack-mount kit allow the single or multiple CR88x receivers to be installed in a portable audio rack or in a permanent venue.
Samson's CB88 beltpack transmitter fits securely on pretty much any guitar strap, with the included cable connecting the transmitter directly to the instrument’s output. Its adjustable gain control enables optimal gain staging for your instrument's output. And, enjoy up to eight hours of continuous operation from a pair of AA batteries.
The system operates with your choice from the 'K'-Band (407-494 MHz) or the 'D'-Band (542-546 MHz).
