DPA 4018-DF-G-B01-075 4018 Supercardioid Mic with 77cm (30") Gooseneck Floor-Stand Boom + XLR

The DPA Microphones model 4018-DF-G-B01-075, part of the DPA flexible gooseneck microphone series, features a highly-directional supercardioid pickup pattern providing a smooth, uniform off-axis frequency response. This particular version sports a 77cm (approx. 30") Floor-Stand Boom with top and bottom gooseneck.

The supercardioid pickup shape of the capsule is frequency independent, providing identical sound pickup color all around the microphone. The usual rear pickup lobe that can be heard on most supercardioids is minimized when using this capsule, giving much more acoustic isolation without sudden frequency-dependent peaks and dips.

With no tools required, and at any time, it's possible to alter the 4018 Supercardioid Microphone's configuration into a new one (additional capsules/preamplifiers sold separately). In addition to its state-of-the-art preamplifier design and sleek appearance, it also offers excellent radio frequency rejection via DPA-designed impedance balancing with active drive.
